First Stop "La Mesa Eco Park"




La Mesa Eco Park is located at La Mesa Watershed in East Fairview, Quezon, City.


ACTIVITIES/ SCHEDULE:



You can enjoy these following activities inside the Eco Park:
(All the activities aside from the swimming pool are available from 8 am- 5pm daily. However swimming pools are only available on the said time below)

  • Swimming Pools (open from 8am- 4pm daily)

Wondering when is the best time to visit? You can visit La Mesa Park anytime! Open from 8am-5pm including holidays!

TRANSPORTATION


  • From Cavite ride a van or bus going to Baclaran about 30 mins that cost 50 pesos from there ride a bus southbound via EDSA with signboards pointing to Baclaran, MIA, Alabang, FTI, or Ayala-Leveriza and get down at Quezon Avenue. From there, ride an FX or jeepney bound for SM Fairview.
  • These are very easy to find as they are plying through Quezon Avenue. Ask the driver to the drop you off Winston St. in East Fairview Subdivision. From there, ride a tricycle going to La Mesa Ecopark. Ride an MRT southbound and get down at Quezon Avenue. From there, ride an FX or jeepney bound for SM Fairview. These are very easy to find as they are plying through Quezon Avenue. Ask the driver to the drop you off Winston St. in East Fairview Subdivision. From there, ride a tricycle going to La Mesa Ecopark.

ACCOMMODATION  




  • P50 for non Quezon City Residents
  • P40 for QC residents (must present proof of residence)
  • P20 for QC students
  • Free for all QC senior citizens and children below 3 ft in height.

FOOD


You can bring your own foods but there are different food stalls where you can grab a quick snack or even a full meal. There are tons of stalls to choose from.





But if you want to eat in a restaurant there are variety of restaurants near the Eco Park such as Chowking, Burger King, Domino's Pizza etc.


THINGS TO REMEMBER/ REMINDERS


Camera, foods, extra clothes for swimming, cellphone and money. The park strictly implemented to throw trashes in the proper disposal garbage cans are in every corner of the park.

                  SECOND STOP "NATIONAL MUSEUM"



National Museum is located at Padre Burgos Ave, Ermita, Manila, Metro Manila where you can explore and see different paintings and artworks of famous artists.


OPEN HOURS


The museum is open from Tuesdays- Sundays from 10 am – 5 pm


TRANSPORTATION


You can ride an MRT southbound to EDSA-Taft Station and transfer to the LRT1 via an elevated walkway to EDSA Station and ride an LRT bound for Monumento. Get down at United Nations Station and walk towards P.Burgos. 


ACCOMMODATION 


Admission to the National Museum is now permanently free of charge for all visitors, Filipino or foreign, to its museums nationwide.


FOOD


You cannot bring food inside however there are different restaurants near the museum where you can choose from. 


THINGS TO BRING/ REMINDERS



1. All guests are required to sign in the visitor’s logbook before viewing the exhibits.

2. Group tours shall be booked before hand. Only groups reserved at the Museum Education Division shall be entertained. Group tours are not allowed on Sundays.


3. Drop off point for groups is outside the NM gate along P. Burgos Avenue and Finance Road. Bags, food, and hand-carried items should be left inside the bus.


4. Buses should park outside the Museum of the Filipino People.


5. Head of the group/coordinator shall first pay the entrance fees and fill up the visitor’s logbook before the group is allowed to begin the tour.


6. Firearms, food, bottled water, and ballpens are not allowed inside galleries.


7. Smoking is prohibited in the NM premises.


8. Touching artworks and taking photos of exhibit items for commercial purposes inside galleries are strictly prohibited unless otherwise authorized through a special permit from the Director’s Office/ Museum Education Division. Picture taking is allowed for souvenir purposes only. The use of flash photography is strictly prohibited.
